Children's Page
During Sunday School the kids spent time working on Christmas cards to pass out while caroling on Dec 6th. The kids that were able to join the carolers had a good time, and did a great job either passing out their cards, or ringing the jingle bells ! The residents seemed to really enjoy listening to all the carolers (adults, too!).
Loretta's sister donated a beautiful Nativity set, which the children unpacked, set up and discussed on Dec 13th during Sunday School. They learned the names of the three wise men, and what each of the three gifts given to baby Jesus meant. Hope you noticed it on the display table in the fellowship hall.
Loretta did a wonderful job with the Children's Cantata -- not to mention how well the kids did! Thanks to Jean who volunteered to sew new costumes, if needed. Thanks also to all the parents who were willing to stay after church on many Sundays for the kids to practice and thanks to Hilda as well.
Lastly, I would like to apologize to the congregation for the confusion around the scheduling of the children's Christmas programs....and then came the snow !!!
